This page could easily have been called "about this site," but Stratigraphy is a cool word and I for one feel that it should be used more often. So let's dig down through the layers of sediment, shall we?

All those little guys in the main links at the bottom of this page, as well as the bullets in my lists, are Bean Warriors. Bean Warriors was a popular motif in the art of the Moche people of Peru. Their civilisation ruled the north coast of Peru from around the beginning of the Common Era until roughly 750 CE, during the so-called "Early Intermediate Period." They built the huge pyramids known as Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna. They were cool.
As noted on the front page, this is my fourth attempt at building a website, following The Potato God Worship Center, Eemeet Meeker's School of Paving, or Lore 2000. There are now Volumes 5 and 6, as I built the websites for the Social and Environmental Research Institute and Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project.
This site was coded entirely in Notepad.
